In the world of antique phonographs, some machines stand out far above the rest. Up for sale is a matchless combination of a fully restored Victor VI phonograph, a matching Herzog Number 820 base cabinet, and a truly stunning Eureka wood horn.

This Victor VI has been completely restored to its former glory with brilliant 24K gold plated hardware throughout. It sits perfectly upon a matching Herzog Number 820 base cabinet, which has also been professionally restored to highlight its rich wood grain, hand carvings, and intricate details. Together, the machine and cabinet present a unified, elegant profile that serves as the centerpiece of any fine collection.

The highlight of this display is the Eureka Wood Horn. This horn features beautiful, meticulous gold stenciling carefully copied from an original horn made by the Eureka Horn Company. Marketed later as the True Tone Amplifying Horn through the General Phonograph Supply Company of New York City, it creates a historically accurate and visually striking masterpiece.

Every mechanical aspect has been addressed with the utmost care. The motor is fully serviced, oiled, and lubricated, running smooth and silent. It features a professionally rebuilt Exhibition reproducer with all-new gaskets and diaphragm for pristine acoustic reproduction.

Circa 1906 – 1920 • Quarter Sawn Oak • Original Finish

The Victor 5 is well known for its handsome quarter sawn oak cabinet and this example retains its original finish. All original nickel plating is in excellent shape.

The triple spring motor runs strong and smooth, playing several records with ease. The rear mount features restored decorative gold striping faithful to original Victor specifications.

The machine comes with a stunning brass bell horn measuring 20 1/2" across the bell and 27 1/2" long. The horn has been professionally straightened and polished; it presents beautifully with fresh original-type lacquer and a new Victor decal.

The Exhibition reproducer has been rebuilt and plays excellently. Cabinet base measures 16 3/8" x 16 3/8" x 7 1/2" high. Comes with one NOS needle tin containing 200 needles.

Circa 1915 • Elite Flagship Instrument • Ribbon-Striped Mahogany

Up for sale is a premier piece of musical history: a beautiful Mahogany Victor Model 18 (VV-XVIII) Phonograph. Produced circa 1915, the Model 18 was one of Victor’s most elite flagship instruments, representing the pinnacle of their craftsmanship. These machines were only made for a little over a year and were discontinued after the 1916 Christmas season.

Key Features & Condition: Built with carefully selected, "ribbon-striped" mahogany veneers. The cabinet features elegant serpentine front and sides, accented by classic Louis XV moulding. All original hardware is 24-karat gold plated and remains in very good condition. The motor has been recently serviced and runs smooth and quiet. The reproducer has been rebuilt to ensure excellent playback quality. While refinished several years ago, the machine remains in stunning condition and shows beautifully.

Dimensions: The machine measures 48" high x 23 1/2" wide x 25 1/2" Deep.

Up for sale is a beautiful Herzog 1/2 Round Oak Cylinder Cabinet. These cabinets were made around 1905 to 1910 by the Herzog Furniture Company based in Saginaw, Michigan.

This 1/2 round holds approximately 120 two minute or four minute cylinders on cardboard tubes. The cabinet has been refinished many years ago and has stunning quarter sawn oak veneers. The finish is in very nice condition. The interior still retains the original cardboard pegs.

If you have an Edison Triumph or Opera or any oak phonograph that you would like to put on this cabinet, it will look magnificent.

This is a great cabinet made by the Salter Furniture Company. There were many record cabinets made around the early 1900's but very few of this style.

It is called a Quarter Round because of its very narrow construction, measuring only 16 1/2" wide and 18" deep. Also a little taller than most at 37 3/4" high. The top measures 17 1/4" x 20" deep.

The cabinet has a new interior that has been done with 14 new vertical slots to hold either 10 inch or 12 inch records. The cabinet has been professionally restored and has stunning red and black mahogany striped veneer on the curved front door.

Cabinet also has beautiful corner columns on each side with hand carving above each column. The Salter Record Cabinet would make a great combination with a Victor 6 or a Victor 4 sitting on top of it.

Circa 1906 • Refinished Golden Oak • 14" Brass Bell Horn

Up for sale is a beautiful Edison Home Model B Phonograph, introduced around 1906. This machine features a beautifully refinished golden oak cabinet with striking quarter-sawn oak grain. The finish displays wonderfully and really brings out the character of the wood. It also features a new Edison banner decal and very attractive pinstriping on the bedplate.

The reproducer has been rebuilt and the machine plays excellent. It is fitted with a new 14" brass bell horn that complements the machine beautifully. I will also include four 2-minute Edison cylinder records so it can be enjoyed right away.

This Edison Home Model B looks and plays fantastic and would make a wonderful addition to any antique phonograph collection or home display. A beautiful example that should provide many years of enjoyment.

Quarter-Sawn Oak • Circa 1917

This Victor Victrola phonograph is in beautiful quarter-sawn oak, produced circa 1917. It features absolutely stunning quarter-sawn oak veneers throughout and is a complete machine.

Equipped with a four-spring motor capable of playing several records on a single winding. This machine has some of the finest tiger oak veneer I have ever seen on an oak Victrola—truly stunning in appearance.

The reproducer has been rebuilt and plays very well. The motor runs quietly and has been properly oiled and adjusted. The original cost in 1917 was $175, a significant amount for the era.

This outstanding machine was refinished many years ago and still presents beautifully. It comes with one NOS needle tin containing approximately 200 needles, along with an album filled with 78 RPM records from this era.
